As far as education is concerned, Wenshan founded an academy as early as the early years of Tongzhi, and later evolved into Dadong Street School (that is, a complete primary school). As far as seclusion is concerned, living in northern China is very rare. In the first year of the Republic of China, another Hui township sage, "Two Kings and One Horse", founded Huimin Primary School (1956 was changed to ethnic primary school, now Huimin Primary School). Later, there were many primary schools, many of which were all girls' schools. In the 1940s, Kang Youwei's second young lady gave a speech at Qizhi Girls' School. This person is probably Mr. Kang Tongbi who was still living in Beijing before the Cultural Revolution. As for missionary schools and private schools, they also have a prosperous history. According to statistics, by 1949, there were10.9 college students (including junior colleges) among the 10,000 people in China, while in the old society of Sarazzi 1949, when the population was160,000, there were no fewer than 60 or 70 college students! Many people have been to famous schools in Beijing. During the Republic of China, villagers Bai Jingtan and others participated in the establishment of Sun Yat-sen College and other educational undertakings in Guisui, the provincial capital. As for 1949, especially after the reform and opening up, more and more young people go to college in their hometown, some continue to study for master's and doctoral degrees, and some go abroad to study.
There is a martial arts style in my hometown in particular. From the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, great martial artists Rong (also known as Yun Liansheng) and American Iron Arm Cheng appeared. These two men became Taizhuzi martial artists in Suiyuan National Martial Arts Museum twice, and Cheng Quanzhong also participated in the Qingdao Challenge of 193 1, which was attended by martial artists from six provinces in North China, and won the second place in Qinggang Sword. Besides Rong and Cheng Ergong, there are also many local people who have kung fu. Among them are Zhao Laotong, Yus Lama, Fire Cat, Guan Xingbao, Guo San and Lan Gong. Among them, Yang Geda, followed by Meng Rong, Han Fu, Hu and Wen Xiu.
Sarazzi is keen on drama. During the Tongzhi period, Tongxingyuan Teahouse performed Jin Opera. During the Republic of China, celebrities from all over the country gathered in Sarazzi. According to the legend of the old people in his hometown, Li Shifang, known as the "Four Famous Dancers of Peking Opera" in the 1940s, was born in Houtan Street after his mother Li Zijian went to Sarazzi to perform. Local celebrities have also appeared. For example, Zhang Yuxi, the lion black, is a famous "painting king" in northern China. When it comes to the art of duet, it is generally acknowledged that it is folk art from Tumochuan, and its originator is the Mongolian artist Yun Shuangyang in Qing Dynasty. His mixed singing of Mongolian and Chinese has remained in the spoken language of villagers for many years. With this foundation, it is not surprising that new roles like Zhao San, Liu and Liu Quan appeared in my hometown in the early 1950s. It was not until a duet was performed in several parks in Hohhot in recent years that the well-known audience took Sarazzi's singing skills as authentic.
There are special traditional temple fairs in my hometown. Among them, the long-standing "June 24th" Goumen Temple Fair is the most important. On the day of the meeting, there were a sea of local people, and people from afar also came to attend.
There have also been various "outstanding figures" in Sarazzi, and "capable people" have appeared in all walks of life. For Mongolian compatriots, Xiangrong is not only a patriotic thinker, but also a world-renowned "frontier writer". Ren Ru and Yun Fuxiang, who have served as the principal and deputy banners of Tumote Banner for many years, are excellent ethnic cadres and honest and good officials.
