If it is really necessary to postpone due to special reasons, the project leader shall apply for an extension. The longest extension time shall not exceed 1 year, and those who have not completed the extension shall be withdrawn.

If the project is cancelled, the school where the project owner is located shall be responsible for recovering the allocated funds, and the original financial account in the school plan shall be returned to the account of the Ministry of Education. The person in charge of the cancelled project shall not declare all kinds of humanities and social science research projects of the Ministry of Education within 3 years.

For projects that have not carried out any research work so far, relying on schools will take them back, and those who abuse project funds in violation of regulations will be held accountable. Books, equipment, etc. State-owned assets purchased with project funds shall be handed over to supporting schools in accordance with regulations.
