The National Cracow Conservatory of Music originated from the Cracow Conservatory of Music and was founded on1February/888 17 by the outstanding Polish composer Vardis Lao Zelensky. Under the leadership of the outstanding pianist Professor Zbigniew Drzewiecki, 1946 officially became the National Higher Conservatory of Music. The college has first-class teachers and teaching equipment, a fully functional digital library, a network audio-visual center, an international affairs office, an electronic music studio, and an excellent teacher team composed of famous musicians, such as Professor Barbara Swiatek-Zelazna (1996) and Professor Marek Stachowski (1997). Professor Katia Danzovska (1998), Professor Zbignev Bouillard (1999), Professor Erz Beata Stefanska-Chris (2000), Professor Vitold Herman (200 1) and Professor Andrzej Godek (2000). The Academy has trained many famous performers, singers, conductors and composers, among which Professor krzysztof penderecki, the most outstanding representative, is of epoch-making significance in Polish and world music history.
The college pays attention to cultivating students' comprehensive quality and practical ability, and holds more than ten concerts and various performances every year to organize students to participate. The performances are rich and varied, from the Middle Ages to 2 1 century, from ancient musical instruments to electronic musical instruments and so on. In addition, the college has the right to implement ECTS European credit transfer system, and more than 90% students have the opportunity to participate in international exchanges every year.
