Creative background:

Comenius is in a period of social change when the feudal society in Europe collapsed and the capitalist system was established. At that time, Europe still followed the previous fragmented teaching methods, with scattered, isolated and disunited schools, no unified teaching objectives and poor teaching results.

In order to adapt to the development of capitalism, Comenius summarized the educational experience of many European countries in the17th century and studied many new problems. 1632 wrote the Great Teaching Theory. But it was not until 1657 that Comenius settled in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, that the book was included in the first book of Comenius Complete Works and was officially published for the first time. ?
