Language Education (Quarterly) was founded on 1987. It is an academic journal sponsored by Dalian Foreign Studies University and headed by Liaoning Provincial Department of Education. The readers of this magazine are language educators, researchers and master's and doctoral students.

The purpose of language education is to carry out academic research in the field of language and language education, pay attention to macro strategy, strategic issues and micro teaching methods in the field of language education, and promote the exchange and development of education, teaching and scientific research in various languages.
