Two universities. According to official website, the Education Department of Yunnan Province and the School of Tourism and Culture of Yunnan University are located in Lijiang, a world-famous tourist resort. After nearly 20 years of construction and development, it has become one of the first-class independent colleges in China, affiliated to two universities. The College of Tourism and Culture of Yunnan University has an independent campus, covering an area of 1.200 mu, with more than 300,000 square meters of school buildings, teaching equipment worth 76.6 million yuan, and a collection of 1.75 million books.
