The Central Conservatory of Music, referred to as "Central Music", is located in the capital Beijing. Founded in 1949, the college is an institution of higher learning that trains senior specialized music talents. Directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), it is the only "2 1 1 project" key construction university among national art colleges.

The first batch of MFA education pilot units in China, the national college students' cultural quality education base, the post-doctoral innovation practice base in Sichuan Province, and the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, the social and artistic level grading institution, were founded by 1939 as the Sichuan Drama Education Experimental School, and then went through Sichuan Music Experimental School, Sichuan Institute of Technology, Sichuan Academy of Art and Chengdu.

Xinghai Conservatory of Music, located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, is the only higher music professional college in South China. Xian Xinghai, Xiao, Ma Sicong, Li Ling and other outstanding musicians who lead the trend of modern music culture in China.
The history of Xinghai Conservatory of Music can be traced back to 1932, which was founded by China modern music education pioneers Ma Sicong and Chen Hong. 1985 65438+in February, it was renamed Xinghai Conservatory of Music in memory of Xian Xinghai, a Guangdong musician.
