What are the credits for continuing medical education?
The maximum credits awarded by each national and provincial continuing medical education project shall not exceed 10 credits; Distance continuing medical education is awarded a maximum of 5 credits per project, and a maximum of 10 credits per year.

Continuing education credits are one of the conditions for evaluating the qualifications of medical practitioners, which will be used in future promotion and related to the registration of qualification certificates. Health technicians with intermediate or above professional and technical positions should participate in continuing medical education activities and get 25 credits every year, including 5 to 10 credits for Class I and 5 to 20 credits for Class II.

I. Granting of Class I Credit

1. Project approved by the Continuing Medical Education Committee of the Ministry of Health.

2, all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government continue to attack the medical education committee for examination and approval or authorized units.

Health technicians with intermediate or above professional and technical positions should participate in continuing medical education activities every year, and medical staff in hospitals of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government must obtain 5 to 10 credits for national projects within 5 years.
