The main responsibilities of Liuyang Education Bureau:

1. Carry out the educational principles, policies, laws and regulations of the Party and the state, study and formulate the city's educational reform and development strategy and educational career development plan, and organize their implementation.

5 cooperate with relevant departments to do a good job in the budget and final accounts of the city's education funds and the financial management, auditing and supervision of grassroots units; Manage the work related to funding; Responsible for the improvement, maintenance and repair of the city's education and teaching facilities; Responsible for educational technology equipment and management, and organize the implementation of information technology education.

8. Guide, supervise and manage the auditing (examination and approval) institutions organized by social forces according to law.
