1. Hohhot University for Nationalities: Located in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it is a key construction university in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, jointly established by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the State Ethnic Affairs Commission. Founded in 1953, the school is the earliest ethnic college in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In 2000, Inner Mongolia Mongolian College merged with Inner Mongolia Normal School for Nationalities to form Inner Mongolia Institute for Nationalities. In 2009, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was upgraded to Hohhot Institute for Nationalities.
2. Hohhot Vocational College: an old school with a history of 100 years, its origin can be traced back to the era of "abolishing the imperial examination and rejuvenating the school" in the late Qing Dynasty, that is, Guisui Normal School in 1907, which is the beginning of normal education in Hohhot. 1922 was changed to Suiyuan Normal School, which changed its name several times until 1945 moved back to its original site and entered a period of vigorous development. 1954 changed its name to Hohhot Normal School. 1977 after the resumption of the college entrance examination, students from normal colleges began to be recruited.

Inner Mongolia Police Vocational College: Inner Mongolia Police Training Corps is a full-time higher vocational college of public security politics and law sponsored by Inner Mongolia People's Government, headed by Inner Mongolia Public Security Department and directed by Inner Mongolia Education Department.
4. Inner Mongolia Sports Vocational College: It belongs to the Sports Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
