There are three universities specializing in pets: Nanjing Agricultural University, China Agricultural University and Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology College.

Agricultural University Of Nanjing

The College of Animal Medicine of Nanjing Agricultural University, formerly known as the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department of Southeast University, was founded in 192 1, which is one of the earliest animal husbandry and veterinary departments in China. He used to be the convener of the Veterinary Discipline Evaluation Group of the State Council Academic Degree Committee, and now he is the affiliated unit and deputy director of the Secretariat of the National Veterinary Professional Degree Education Steering Committee.

China Agricultural University

The College of Animal Medicine of China Agricultural University consists of the Department of Basic Medicine, the Department of Preventive Medicine and the Department of Clinical Medicine, and has a first-class discipline of veterinary medicine authorized by a doctor. The first-level discipline covers five two disciplines, including basic veterinary medicine, preventive veterinary medicine, clinical veterinary medicine, veterinary bioengineering and veterinary public health, and has three levels of personnel training: undergraduate, master and doctor.

Jilin institute of agricultural science and technology

Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology College is a provincial public full-time undergraduate college in Jilin Province, located in the northern river city-Jilin City, known as the rime capital. The College of Animal Science and Technology of Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology College has close cooperation with more than 200 enterprises and institutions such as well-known domestic breeding enterprises, veterinary drug enterprises, biological products factories, pet chain institutions, police dog bases and national nature reserves.
