Mabian Middle School was founded in 1940, senior middle school in 1958 and ethnic boarding class in 1979. It is one of the first ordinary senior middle schools in Sichuan ethnic areas to enroll ethnic boarding classes. Mabian Middle School is located in the west of Mabian Yi Autonomous County, at the foot of Liangxiao Mountain in the southwest, with mabian river in front and Paotai Mountain in the back.
