Great changes have taken place in China since the reform and opening up, and so has education. Unfortunately, the development is uneven, especially between urban and rural areas.

As we all know, education affects the future of a country. It is so important that none of us can ignore it.

Generally speaking, due to the economic situation, cities are more advanced than rural areas in all aspects, and more funds and resources are invested in cities, while rural areas are far behind. We often see children in cities sitting in comfortable classrooms with brand-new desks and chairs, listening to the best teachers in almost all fields, while students in rural areas don't even have enough money to buy a pencil. A so-called school has only three or four teachers.

I remember Premier Wen said that development must be for the people, rely on the people, and the fruits must be shared by all. I think it is wrong to widen the education gap again and again, and measures must be taken to ensure that rural students can enjoy equal, high-quality and affordable education like urban students.
