Chongqing Yitong Overseas Consulting Co., Ltd. is the vice president of Chongqing Entry-Exit Industry Association. In 2005, the company was authorized by the British Embassy in China to set up a British visa application center in southwest China, and in 2008, it was authorized by the Canadian Embassy in China to set up a Canadian visa center. These two visa centers are responsible for accepting visa applications from China citizens in southwest China for private travel to Britain and Canada.

In September 2009, with the approval of Yunnan Education Department, Kunming Education Bureau and other relevant departments, and with the special support of British Council for Cultural Education and Welsh National Higher Education Committee, Chongqing Yitong Consulting Co., Ltd. successfully cooperated with Kunming No.1 Middle School and National Computing Education Center (NCC) to hold "Kunming No.1 Middle School International Department 2009 NCC International Preparatory Experimental Class". At this point, Chongqing Yitong Overseas Consulting Co., Ltd. has developed from a single overseas intermediary to an international educational exchange institution consisting of education, international exchange, study tour, training and visa centers in Britain and Canada.
