The exam is divided into two levels: A and B (including written test and oral test).

Fifth, several problems that need to be paid attention to in teaching.

1. Higher vocational education trains advanced applied professionals in the fields of technology, production, management and service. English courses should not only lay a good language foundation, but also pay attention to cultivating practical language skills, especially the ability to handle daily and foreign-related business activities in English.

2. Laying a good language foundation is an important goal of English teaching. However, to lay a good foundation, we should follow the principle of "practicality first, make full use of it", emphasizing both laying a good language foundation and cultivating language application ability; Emphasize the training of basic language skills and the cultivation of language application ability in foreign-related communication activities.

3. Pay attention to the law of language learning, correctly handle the relationship between listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, and ensure the coordinated development of various language abilities. At present, we should pay special attention to strengthening the cultivation of listening and speaking ability.

4. Considering the current differences in students' entrance English level, teaching and testing are divided into two levels: A and B. Necessary supplementary training is given to students who fail to reach the standard entrance level at the time of entrance, so that all students can gradually meet the A-level requirements to ensure the full implementation of the basic requirements.

5. After completing the teaching tasks stipulated in the basic requirements, offering specialized English courses in combination with professional learning can not only ensure the continuity of students' English learning at school, but also make the English they have learned practical.

6. Correctly handle the relationship between testing and teaching. Language testing should focus on assessing students' practical ability to use language and prevent exam-oriented education. At the same time, scientific testing can provide positive feedback for teaching reform and language learning, which is a necessary guarantee to improve teaching quality.

7. Actively introduce and use modern teaching methods such as computer multimedia and network technology, improve school English teaching conditions, organize students to participate in colorful English extracurricular activities, create a good English learning atmosphere, and stimulate students' consciousness and enthusiasm in learning English.
