Brief introduction of Ningxia Normal University
The college is located in Yuanzhou District, Guyuan City, a historic city under Liupanshan Mountain in southern Ningxia, and is under the management of the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is the only normal undergraduate college in Ningxia.

The school was formerly known as Liupanshan University, which was founded in 1975.

1978 With the approval of the State Council, Guyuan Teachers College was established on the basis of Liupanshan University.

1994 was renamed Guyuan Normal University.

In 2006, it was renamed Ningxia Normal University with the approval of the Ministry of Education and upgraded to an undergraduate college.

The school has two campuses, Guyan and Wen Yuan, with a total area of 927,907.2 square meters and a total construction area of 287,000 square meters, including 6,543,800 square meters for teaching administration and 63,800 square meters for student dormitory. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment in the school is 94,665,438+10,000 yuan.

The library has 997,800 Chinese and foreign paper books, 0.09 million electronic books, 9 Chinese databases and 2 foreign databases. Journal of Ningxia Normal University is open to the whole country and is the first "Top 100" social science journal in China.

There are 722 faculty members in the school, including 490 full-time teachers, professors 1 10 and associate professors 186, accounting for 60.53% of the total number of full-time teachers, including 424 doctors1kloc-0/person and masters. Teachers with master degree or above account for 86.55% of the total number of full-time teachers.
