How does China's education go global?
China needs to actively participate in the "Belt and Road" construction.

China has carried out the "One Belt, One Road" education campaign in depth, strengthened the interconnection with the People's Republic of China in the field of education, and started the pilot project of overseas school construction in China. For example, the China-ASEAN Vocational Education Federation was established, the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Economic and Trade College was established, the "Future Africa-China Vocational Education Cooperation Plan" was launched, China-Central and Eastern Europe education exchanges and cooperation were deepened, and the regional education cooperation mechanism was continuously improved.

Domestic universities also actively participate in the construction of the "Belt and Road". Academician Nie Zuoren, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of Beijing University of Technology, said that in recent years, Beijing University of Technology has continuously promoted the construction of the "Belt and Road" China-Poland university alliance exchange and cooperation system, and built it through brand activities such as the "Belt and Road Ingenious Interconnection" international academic series conference, "Belt and Road Art Heart Connection" and "China-Poland Train Interconnection" youth summer camp.

It has formed a strategic cooperation pattern with Poland as the core and radiating Central and Eastern Europe, setting an example for building the "Belt and Road" educational community. More than 3,000 partners have participated in the Belt and Road Initiative, which has effectively promoted the exchange of higher education and cultural integration between China and Central and Eastern Europe.

China's education is catching up with the world in facing the world.

In the era of knowledge economy, the global competition for education and talents is fierce. After China's entry into WTO, China's education has been severely challenged by the international rules system dominated by western developed countries. In order to narrow the development gap and enhance competitiveness, China's education has entered the development stage of fully catching up with the world on the "international track".

According to the analysis of global 149 countries' core indicators of education and human resources by the special group of National Education Development Research Center, China's comprehensive index of education development ranked 86th in the world in 2006 and 47th in 2006, up 39th. In 200 1 year, the level of education development in China was 5-6 percentage points higher than the world average and the average level of middle-income countries, and it was about 25 percentage points higher in 20 12 year.

Compared with high-income countries, China's comprehensive education level has also increased from 67% of 200 1 to 88% of 20 12. In the catch-up of 10, China has greatly narrowed the gap with high-income countries in the world, and the gross enrollment rate of preschool education, five-year continuing education rate of primary school, gross enrollment rate of senior high school education and gross enrollment rate of higher education all exceed the world average.
