Interpretation of Jinghua:

The following is an interpretation of the book Behavior Design: Creating Peak Experience, as follows:

catalogue

First, say "no!" Plain and unremarkable.

Second, happy moments.

Third, cognitive moment.

Fourth, the moment of glory

Verb (abbreviation for verb) connection time

The biggest feeling after listening to this book is that if I have to pick out one sentence, I think it should be this sentence: please pay attention to the possibilities contained in every moment. You can praise a colleague's work method (recognize others), ask your child what failures he has recently encountered (breakthrough cognition) at dinner, or invite your friends to go to the movies after work (break the script).

Yes, we have the ability to create joy, arouse cognition, arouse glory and encourage connection. These extraordinary moments are the finishing touch and make life meaningful. This moment to make the world a better place is waiting for you and me to create.

One thing that impressed me most in the book was: breaking the script. The book tells a touching story: a little boy refused to go to bed on the first night after returning from vacation because he left his beloved giraffe doll Josie at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel where he stayed on vacation. In order to coax the children, parents can only lie: "Josie has gone on vacation and he doesn't want to go home yet."

Later that evening, employees of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel called. They told the little boy's parents that Josie had found it, and their parents were relieved. They also told the hotel staff that they lied to their son.

Unexpectedly, a few days later, Josie came home with a stack of photos: all the beautiful photos of him "vacationing" in every corner of the hotel. For example, in the spa, I put on a cucumber mask, mixed with hotel parrots, and even had pictures of Josie staring at the surveillance video!

The husband and wife are elated about this, and the son is even more excited. They wrote their own experiences as blog posts, which were madly forwarded and relished by people.

Ritz-Carlton staff spent hours running around taking pictures, breaking the script and giving people a wonderful experience of "unexpected and reasonable". This will not only impress people with hotel brands, but also make the world a better place.

There is another biggest gain from listening to books: I have studied English for many years, but when I am abroad, why can't I speak English? Unable to communicate. After listening to this book today, I know what I did. In real life, we should set more milestones. As mentioned above, people have a natural desire for milestones, because milestones represent glory. Take running as an example. If you are a person who doesn't like running, how can you fall in love with this exercise that is very beneficial to your health? A young man named Clark found that after running 5 kilometers, people would get used to the feeling of running, which would produce a kind of addictive pleasure. Isn't 5 kilometers a milestone? It applied this idea to the step counting software C25K (the milestone later became 25km). This makes Clark have hundreds of thousands of users and countless thank-you letters.

This book also tells an example of learning a foreign language. If you are a busy person, how do you learn Spanish? You might say, take some time to look at it every day and learn it some day in the future? You'll understand when it's implemented. It's basically impossible! Why is this happening? We might as well look at a scientific and effective method first:

Level 1: Order food in Spanish.

Level 2: communicate with Spanish taxi drivers once.

Level 3: browse a Spanish newspaper and understand at least one title.

Level 4: Understand the general plot of a Spanish cartoon.

Level 5: Read a Spanish book at kindergarten level.

The ultimate goal: to have a complete daily communication with a Spaniard.

Compared with "taking time to see", where is this method reliable? Because in the process of reaching the ultimate goal, you set yourself one clear level after another, just like one milestone after another. When you pass the upgrade, the joy and satisfaction brought by the "glory moment" will naturally push you to the next milestone and finally let you achieve your goal. I want to learn English from today, so that I can get more mileage cards, learn one life scene after another, and conquer one after another, so that learning English is not difficult and has a great sense of accomplishment.

After listening to this book, I gained a lot. I listen to books every day and make a little progress every day. Reading has become a part of my life. Thanks for meeting the reading club in Fan Deng.
