1, Lancang River
The Lancang River originates in the southwest of China, flows through Myanmar, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia, and flows into the South China Sea from Vietnam. Zhaqu and Ziqu, the headwaters of the upper reaches of Lancang River, originated at the northern foot of Tanggula in Qinghai, China, and flowed to Changbu in Tibet in the southeast, where they merged with Angqu, a tributary on the right bank, hence the name of Lancang River.
Lancangjiang River flows south between Tanian Taoweng Mountain and Ningjing Mountain, with high mountains and deep valleys, fast-flowing water and rocky beaches. It is one of the narrow north-south tunnels in Hengduan Mountains.
