Recommend some useful classics to you, at least the exam will be useful.

If you are a girl, look at the story lines of Jane Eyre, Gone with the Wind and A Dream of Red Mansions. It's interesting.

Then the following are all meaningful books.

Shout, home, spring, autumn, border town and thunderstorm

Oliver Twist, Notre Dame and Resurrection

Eugenie Grandet, Four Generations under One roof and Yin Menghu.

Mo Bosang's short stories or something.

I don't know how you will feel after reading it, but it is much more meaningful than reading those messy books.
