Up to now, there are 14 major disciplines in Chinese universities, namely philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, military science, art and interdisciplinary subjects, among which "interdisciplinary subjects" were newly established in June 20021year.
Cross-discipline is a newly established discipline category issued by the Ministry of Education in 20021,which refers to a new discipline category formed by cross-discipline integration, and no major has been listed in the catalogue of undergraduate majors in colleges and universities.
There are many interdisciplinary subjects, including energy and resource engineering, China, data science, integrated life science, nano science and technology, financial engineering, risk management and actuarial science, sustainable development management, environmental policy and management, food safety management, information art design and so on.
