Daqing Foreign Language School was established in August, 1999. It is the only public foreign language school in Heilongjiang Province and one of the eight provincial-level demonstration middle schools directly under Daqing Education Bureau.

As of September 20 14, the school is divided into two parts: the main campus and the affiliated primary school, with a total floor area of 160300 square meters and a total construction area of 1 19000 square meters. There are 300 faculty members and 2565 students.
