In order to cultivate talents with international competitiveness, countries begin to design the curriculum system as a whole, organize and distribute the knowledge structure, and build a world-class curriculum from the global background. For China, the curriculum reform of basic education should meet the challenge of globalization.
As far as the purpose and direction of teaching are concerned, the teaching reform in primary and secondary schools in China has gone through three stages, from "double basics" to "three-dimensional goals" and then to "core literacy", and has completed the transformation from knowledge to discipline and then to people. At present, China's basic education has entered a new era of people-oriented and core literacy.
The selection, organization and presentation of teaching content is also an important embodiment of educational methods. Traditional teaching divides subject knowledge into knowledge points. The so-called teaching is to unfold and present around knowledge points, and students finally get isolated and numerous knowledge points. Our teachers are also good at teaching knowledge points, but we don't know what qualities students should cultivate in knowledge point teaching. The teaching and acceptance of knowledge is isolated, which leads to the single knowledge structure of students and the serious weakening of comprehensive innovation ability. The transformation of subject knowledge from "separation" to "integration" is also a manifestation of the transformation of educational methods.
