The founder of the school is Mr. Chen Yidan, the main founder of Tencent, the founder of Tencent Charity Foundation and the founder of "One Dan Award". Wuhan University runs a school for public welfare and relies on social forces to develop. 20 16 12, "Hubei yidan university education development foundation" completed the first round of fund raising and devoted itself to supporting the sustainable construction and development of Wuhan university. These include donations from enthusiastic entrepreneurs such as Mr. Ma, Chairman and CEO of Tencent, Mr. Zhang Zhidong, the main founder of Tencent, and Mr. Wu, a member of Tencent's early founding team, and members of the school board. This is also the first time that China's private colleges and universities have completed donation collection in the form of co-construction funds.
