According to legend, the ancient Yellow Emperor once collected books in this mountain. Wu Lingren is good at hiding in this mountain to protect the Yellow Emperor Library and educate the local people. In the Zhou Dynasty, Zhou Muwang collected different books on this mountain. When Qin Shihuang was in power, he burned books and buried Confucianism. Dr. Fu Sheng smuggled five cars of banned books and hid them in a cave in the mountains. It was not until Qin died that he took them out and dedicated them to Liu Bang, the Emperor of the Han Dynasty. In the end, the contention of a hundred schools of thought in the Spring and Autumn Period was not cut off, which made an indelible contribution to the continuation of Chinese civilization for five thousand years. With its advantages and virtues, the collection of books in Mount Youer is regarded as a famous mountain in the world by scholars of all ages, which is admirable. During the reign of Song Zhenzong, Chenzhou sentenced Ouyang Yi to swim in this mountain, admiring the virtue of remembering the good axis, and wrote to Zhenzong Zhao Heng, asking him to build a temple to worship the good axis to show his appreciation of the virtue. Emperor Zhenzong allowed it to be played, in order to build a ancestral temple for Shanjuan on the top of Yule Mountain. In the Ming Dynasty, Dong Hance, the commander of Chenzhou, built Cuishan and Academy on the mountain at his own expense. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Xiangfu moved to Yuanling, where numerous experts and professors took refuge. Long Shengheng, the principal of Wusu Primary School, took this opportunity to hire people trusted by the public to teach primary school students, which laid a solid foundation for talent education in Wusu. Therefore, after the founding of New China, Yule became a famous professor village in China.
