In 2022, the admission scores of ordinary high schools in Quzhou are: 589.5 in Quzhou No.1 Middle School, 603 in Quzhou No.2 Middle School, 560 in Quzhou Senior Middle School, 576.5 in Quzhou No.3 Middle School and 525 in Du Ze Middle School.

Quzhou No.2 Middle School, founded in 1953, is the first new school planned to be built in five years after the founding of New China. It is one of the first batch of 18 key middle schools in the province, a provincial key middle school, a provincial-level characteristic demonstration high school (the first batch in the province), a "New Century Leading Plan" school in Tsinghua University, and a school recommended by the president of the High School Attached to Peking University.
