He is now from Zhang Huai Village, Ji County, Hebei Province. When he was young, he was exiled to Beijing because of repeated disasters in his village, and made headlines outside Chaoyang Gate and at the entrance of Jishi City. At first, I learned scissors, and later I made a living by selling twisted dough sticks. He learned Shaolin boxing in his early years and was good at arhat boxing and bouncing legs. * * * About 20 years old, that is, about 1860 * *, I studied fine arts with Dong Haichuan. At that time, Dong Gong was in his fifties. Because he was old, he had to spend the night outside. From then on, Yin Fu peddled along the street every day, and worked hard day and night, winning Dong Gong's love, being talented and getting better at martial arts. Because he has been with his teacher for many years, he has learned a lot. Although there were full sessions before him, Ruan Guzhen and others studied under Dong, since Dong Haichuan left Su Di, most people finally stopped studying. The inscriptions on these two stone tablets are the earliest written records about Dong Haichuan's life so far, which provide important written historical materials for textual research on his life and the origin of Baguazhang. Since then, the people of Bagua Palm have followed the teacher's art, enriched and perfected the basic palm shapes taught by their teachers, and integrated their own learning.
