Heilongjiang Forestry Vocational and Technical College is the first national forestry vocational and technical college approved by the Heilongjiang provincial government, put on record by the Ministry of Education and set up independently by the state. It is located in Mudanjiang City, the largest lava dammed lake in China, and a famous northern city with beautiful scenery beside Jingbo Lake. Campus construction is orderly, lush and elegant, and it is known as "the first garden in Danjiang". The College has been successively rated as an advanced party organization in the city, an advanced collective in education and scientific research, a model of provincial civilized units, a garden-style unit, an advanced unit with three religions and nine streams, a trusted famous university in Longjiang, the first choice for students and parents in Heilongjiang, and won the honorary title of "an advanced unit in national vocational education".
The college adheres to the school-running philosophy of "based on forestry, facing the local area, serving the society, and cultivating advanced technology-applied talents and management-oriented talents to meet the needs of forestry and local economic construction", and insists on survival by quality, development by reform, running a characteristic school and taking the road of school-enterprise cooperation. Drawing lessons from the dual system model of German vocational education and combining with the actual situation in China, we adopt "Industry-University-Research integration 4+2 model" and "school-enterprise cooperation 2+ 1 model".
