On 20/0/7, approved by the Yunnan provincial government and put on record by the Ministry of Education, Yunnan Light Industry School, Yunnan Light Industry Technician School and Yunnan Arts and Crafts School were merged to form Yunnan Textile Vocational College, which was officially enrolled in 20/0/8. From June 5438 to February 2020, with the approval of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Department of Education, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Department of Finance, the Yunnan Publishing Media Technical School affiliated to Yunnan Publishing Group Co., Ltd. was merged into the school.
