Two. Introduction of Jinling Institute of Technology Jinling Institute of Technology is located in Nanjing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. It is a full-time undergraduate college that mainly trains advanced applied talents. It is the strategic research unit of the experimental reform of the University of Applied Science and Technology of the Ministry of Education, the initiator of China Universities of Applied Sciences (College) Alliance, and the chairman of the alliance of applied undergraduate colleges in the Yangtze River Delta region. Its predecessor was Jinling Vocational College, the first vocational university in new China established by 1980, and Nanjing Agricultural College established by 1958 and rebuilt by 1984. In June 2002, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the provincial and municipal governments, the two universities merged to form Jinling Institute of Science and Technology, which was formally established in March 2005.
