Education makes the country prosperous, and education makes the country strong. Higher education is an important symbol of a country's development level and potential. Today, the demand for higher education, scientific knowledge and outstanding talents for the development of the cause of the party and the state is more urgent than ever. In the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, it is proposed to "accelerate the construction of first-class universities and first-class disciplines and realize the connotative development of higher education". At present, the scale of higher education in China and the number of graduates each year have ranked first in the world, but the expansion of scale does not mean the increase of quality and efficiency. Taking the road of connotative development is the only way for the development of higher education in China.
