In 2023, the No.1 high school in Kashgar was the No.3 Agricultural Division Middle School of Xinjiang Production Corps, followed by No.6 Middle School in Kashgar and No.2 Middle School in Kashgar.
The No.1 Middle School of the Third Agricultural Division is located in the scenic East Lake in the ancient city of Kashgar. The Third Agricultural Division Middle School was founded in 1955, formerly known as the Children's School of the Third Independent Automobile Battalion of the Logistics Department of the Production and Construction Corps of Xinjiang Military Region, and was renamed as the Third Agricultural Division Middle School in 1987. The third agricultural division middle school is a key high school of the Corps, and was named as a model high school of the Corps by the Education Bureau of the Corps in August 2006.
The school covers an area of 3 1962m2. It is divided into three campuses, Kashgar, Caohu and Tumushuk, with 96 classes. There are 45 classes and 2057 students in Kashgar Campus. Caohu Campus has 14 classes with 657 students. Tumushuk Campus has 37 classes, 1758 students.
