Gansu Finance and Trade Vocational College was established on February 29th, 2006 with the approval of Gansu Provincial People's Government. On the basis of the former Lanzhou Garment Workers College, the college was formed by the integration of seven schools directly under the provincial education department, including Gansu Bank School, Gansu Economic School, Gansu Finance and Trade School, Gansu Economic and Trade School, Gansu Commercial School, Gansu Industrial and Commercial Administration School and Gansu Art and Design School.
