Jining university is a provincial full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2007. Its school-running history can be traced back to 195 1, and its predecessor was Jining Normal University. In 2008 10, qufu normal School, a century-old prestigious school founded in 1905, was incorporated. The school is located in the hometown of Confucius, a great thinker and educator in ancient China, the birthplace of Confucian culture and the world famous historical and cultural city Qufu.
