Two systems of Russian higher education
Russia has two higher education systems. One is: the undergraduate education system is 4 years, the postgraduate education system is 2 years, and the associate doctor (equivalent to a doctor in China) has a postgraduate education system of 3 years, and the highest is a doctor in China. The other is: the undergraduate education system is 5 years (you can get the diploma of experts or engineers), the associate doctoral education system is 3 years (you can get the diploma of doctors), and the highest is the national doctor. If foreign students do not have a basic knowledge of Russian, they must have a preparatory language study of 1 year. After graduation, you can directly enter the undergraduate course or study for a master's degree. Russia belongs to a country with a high level of education. At present, there are 4.8 million Russians studying in 10 18 comprehensive universities, professional colleges and research institutes, of which 4.2 million are studying in 608 state-owned institutions of higher learning, and about 600,000 are studying in 4 10 private institutions of higher learning, most of whom have relevant licenses. In terms of the number of students in national institutions of higher learning, Russia ranks first in the world.

Experts pointed out that scientific research in colleges and universities is an inseparable part of the national science and technology complex, accounting for more than 50% of the science and technology complex. Colleges and universities and the Ministry of Education have 6,543,800 teaching staff and 6,543,800 scientific researchers, including 2,654,438 doctors and 95,400 associate professors. The Russian education system has concentrated about 40% doctors, more than 30% associate doctors, about 75% doctoral students, 60% master students and 55% degree applicants.

Generally speaking, from the speed of increasing state investment, education, including higher education, remains a priority for Russia. According to experts who study Russia, the Russian budget allocated 277 billion rubles for education in 2006, 383 billion rubles in 2002 and 498 billion rubles (about/kloc-0.5 billion US dollars) in 2003. Last year, more than 300 new buildings were built for schools nationwide, and 468 buildings will be invested this year, including those of colleges and universities. 2003-2004 should be a period of actively implementing Russian education informatization plan. The plan provides for the provision of complete sets of projection equipment for normal universities across the country.

The standards of Russian education system are in line with world standards, which is conducive to further attracting foreign citizens to study in Russian universities. Many famous universities in Russia have close cooperation with European and American universities, and it is easy for them to enter European and American universities for further study after entering these universities. At present, many students in China are practicing this goal.
