Why didn't the Buddha stop killing?
To reduce wars and killings, we must eliminate people's worries about "greed, anger and stupidity"!

People often only care about themselves, and few people care about others. Even those who study Buddhism, there are many people who just want to prove the Buddha's fruit and are indifferent to the sufferings of all beings. Especially in recent years, heresy and heresy are rampant. Under the impact of foreign culture, people have no correct opinions, reverse their delusions, are keen on the sensory pleasure of external color and sound, and have weak moral and ethical concepts, which constantly create tragedies in life.

In recent years, the killing of creatures to satisfy selfish desires has already reached a jaw-dropping level, and the atmosphere of overeating has spread all over the country, inside and outside the Great Wall, from the upper class to the ordinary people, eating fresh life crazily everywhere. Throughout history, which dynasty had such madness, no matter the streets and alleys, there were people selling fresh flesh and blood everywhere. Today's vegetable market has simply become an "animal world". Today's means of eating and killing are unprecedented, and it can be described as the pinnacle, which is really terrible.

The root cause of social unrest and the outbreak of war lies in the mistakes made by all beings from the beginning.

In the late 1990s, the worst chicken plague occurred in Hong Kong. In order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, the government ordered to stop selling chickens and poultry. In just a few days, more than one million chickens were slaughtered, and the chicken plague was controlled to a certain extent, but innocent chickens were killed. Has it ever occurred to people that during the Second World War, nearly 4 million people were brutally slaughtered by the Nazis in the Auschwitz concentration camp? The Nanjing Massacre, in which 300,000 compatriots were killed in just a few days, is called a terrible tragedy that shocked China and foreign countries. However, no one complained about the death of 1 million chickens. Is it because chickens are poultry that they can be slaughtered and ignored at will? We Buddhists are equal to all sentient beings, and there is no difference. Voltaire, a French philosopher and writer, is not a Buddhist, but his equality cannot but be sincerely appreciated. He said: "treat other animals as our brothers;" Because they are endowed with life like us, because they have the same life elements, the same feelings and the same memories, but they just lack human language ability. If so, dare we kill and eat? Do we dare to commit this crime of killing brothers and sisters?

People who only want a moment, but have no sense of cause and effect, are insensitive, stupid and cruel to kill creatures, creating a tragic world that makes all beings restless and casts a terrible shadow on their own life and the afterlife. I implore those who kill and eat meat to have compassion for all sentient beings, and advise them to stop killing, be kind to life and practice vegetarianism, so that the occurrence of life tragedies can be reduced and eliminated, and the earth we live together will not really become a beautiful paradise. !

If we humans want to achieve real peace and tranquility and stay away from war and violence, the fundamental solution is to promote people to stop killing and release and establish the concept of respecting life. The direct result of release is to reduce the number of slaughtered creatures and reduce the source of future unrest; The indirect result of release is to increase people's blessings, increase the power of goodness, and reduce the chances of past mistakes maturing.

Master Yin Guang said in "Ten Merits of Release": "Anyone who wants to live a peaceful life, be healthy physically and mentally, be at peace with the world and enjoy the well-being of the people, please stop killing and release, and seek it from vegetarianism and chanting Buddha." We should start from ourselves, take our compassion home, try to influence a family, a unit, a region, a country and even the whole world, arouse people's kindness in cherishing life, and promote social stability and world peace.

The main connotation of Buddhist belief lies in learning from "Buddha", which is called "learning Buddha"; That is to say, taking Buddha as a mentor, learning from Buddha's compassion, wisdom, strength and its extraordinary merits, so as to achieve three senses of perfection, complete personality and achieve Buddhism and Taoism. Therefore, to learn Buddhism, we must first understand the meaning of "Buddha".

"Buddha" is the abbreviation of "Buddha", which comes from the transliteration of Sanskrit Buddha. Also known as Futu, Futuo and so on. It is translated as awakened or wise. In other words, the Buddha is fully conscious, aware of him, fully conscious, truly aware of the essence of all dharma, and achieves the supreme enlightenment. Self-consciousness, others' consciousness and perfect consciousness are three levels of consciousness.

"Conscience" means that you have a correct understanding and cognition of the reality of various laws, which is different from ordinary people's ignorance and heretical illusion, so it is also called "correct cognition", which is the highest state that saints have reached twice in hearing and feeling.

"Awakening him" means that the Bodhisattvas turn their own truth to others, which is different from the consciousness of the square, so it is also called "equal consciousness" (total consciousness).

"Feeling full" refers to the Buddha's conscious awareness of the perfection of his wisdom, which is also called "supreme awareness". It is different from the two ways that Bodhisattva can consciously feel him, but fails to break through the confusion of seeing, thinking and dust. And the Buddha, with its flawless and pure wisdom, broke away from the fundamental ignorance (ignorance and confusion), stopped the second ignorance and thoughtlessness, perfected Bodhi and achieved Buddhism and Taoism, and then became a saint with "three senses and all virtues". Therefore, he is also called "Three Buddhas of Atendoro", which means that he has reached the supreme consciousness. Buddha is not only an awakened person who knows the truth of the universe, but also a wise man who thoroughly understands the truth of the universe.
