Central South University of Technology

The discipline of Central South University of Technology originated from the Mining Department of Hunan Higher Institute of Technology founded by 1903.

1952 in the adjustment of colleges and universities in China, the Central South Institute of Mining and Metallurgy was established by the mining and metallurgy disciplines of six colleges and universities, including Wuhan University, Sun Yat-sen University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Guangxi University, Hunan University and Nanchang University, with four departments of geology, mining, mineral processing and nonferrous metallurgy.
