Yiyang Normal School Hunan Yiyang Normal School was founded on 155 1, 1925 and renamed as Yiyang Lilongzhou Normal School, with the school name 1949 1.

Yiyang Normal School in Hunan Province is the cradle of training basic education teachers. It has a long history, superior conditions and profound educational background. Born out of Longzhou Academy, the school was founded in 155 1 and started from Lilongzhou Normal School in Yiyang County, renamed as 1925, and named as 1949 10 (Lilongzhou Normal School in Yiyang County merged with the Fifth Normal School in Hunan Province to form Yiyang Normal School in Hunan Province). At the beginning of liberation, it became one of the better secondary normal schools in Hunan Province.

In 2020, Hunan Daoxian Normal School merged with Qiyang Normal School to form Yongzhou Normal College.
