Brief introduction of China Financial Education Development Foundation
China Financial Education Development Foundation was established on 1992. It is a national public offering foundation approved by the People's Bank of China and registered in the Ministry of Civil Affairs with independent legal personality. The purpose of China Financial Education Development Foundation is to improve the quality of financial practitioners, popularize financial knowledge to the public, rely on the support and donation of all sectors of society, especially the financial system, give play to the advantages of non-profit organizations, vigorously carry out public welfare activities related to financial education, and promote the development of financial education. Since its establishment 20 years ago, China Financial Education Development Foundation, with the support and donation from all walks of life, especially the financial system, has persisted in carrying out activities such as poverty alleviation funding, recognition and awards, training at home and abroad, special lectures and seminars. The Foundation's "Jinhui Project" focusing on rural financial education has made progress in stages. At present, the pilot project has been extended to 66 counties in 12 provinces (autonomous regions) nationwide, and more than 920,000 farmers, township cadres, grassroots financial institutions and microfinance organizations have been trained.
