The training objectives of the two majors are different. English education majors train English teachers in primary and secondary schools, and English majors train foreign language general talents with a solid foundation in English language and literature.
Training objectives of English education major: English teachers in primary and secondary schools who have solid basic knowledge and skills of English language, are proficient in using English language, have advanced educational concepts, are familiar with the basic laws of education, can use modern teaching means and methods, and can adapt to the reform system of new English curriculum standards in primary and secondary schools.
Training objectives of English major: focus on cultivating English talents with high English level and certain professional knowledge, lay a solid foundation, further consolidate and improve students' basic language skills, broaden their knowledge as much as possible, and improve their comprehensive English technical level and communicative competence.
Second, can I change my major after graduating from college?
Can't change majors. Freshman registration and student status management based on college enrollment;
Freshmen should register with the Admission Notice and the graduation certificate (original) of general college (higher vocational college), and those who are short of one will not register. Those who fail to obtain the diploma of junior college and those who fail to report on time will be disqualified. Ordinary college graduates are ordinary full-time students with a schooling of two years (except for the three-year system). Tuition fees are charged according to the standards of students enrolled in the same school.
Freshmen move to registered permanent residence with the Admission Notice. Students are not allowed to transfer or major after entering school.
