German marshal, named Owen von Wotzler Ben.
Many people have heard of the famous assassination of Hitler on July 20th. But what most people remember is that Hitler, a war criminal, narrowly escaped death, that's all. In fact, all the people involved in the conspiracy were persecuted to death under various excuses, and Wurzler was one of them.
Ben Wurzler 188 1 was born in Prussia and received strict military education since childhood. At the same time, he is also a loyal Christian, eager for the well-being of all beings. Perhaps, his fate has been doomed at this moment.
During World War I, Wuertzler served in the War Department and won the Iron Cross twice, which shows his extraordinary military talent. By the eve of World War II, Wurzler had been promoted to the rank of the Third Division of Major General, so it can be said that the future is boundless.
However, all this changed after 1934 Rome riots. After witnessing the assassinations of General Schleicher and General Brado, Wurzler protested Hitler several times in person, but he still couldn't stop his killing behavior and his acquiescence in "terrorist police tactics".
Of course, Wurzler was not the only one who clashed with Hitler. No matter in politics or in the army, secret resistance organizations aimed at getting rid of Hitler began to appear, among which the organization headed by Ghadel, the mayor of Leipzig, was the most powerful. WuertzlerBen is one of the activists.
1939, the former army commander, General Echo, teamed up with Uzleben to plan to detain Hitler when he visited siegfried line. Uzleben arrested the main figures of the National Socialist Party, killing Hitler's power completely. Unfortunately, people are not as good as people. Hitler, who knew in advance, miraculously canceled the tour and fired Ekud, but Wurzler escaped.
Next, Wurzleben took part in the Battle of France, and hit the French army hard in Nancy and Belfo. With this achievement, Wurzleben was promoted to field marshal. But at the same time, WuertzlerBen still keeps close contact with the rebel groups and has been preparing for the assassination.
But the situation they are facing is still grim, because a group of frontline generals such as Lund Stedt, manstein and Rommel, although they don't support Hitler's cruelty, also think that "mutiny is a great injustice". To put it bluntly, they are still limited by traditional ideas and dare not try.
At the same time, the development of the war situation also forced the rebel groups to act quickly, otherwise Germany would fall into a greater abyss. Then a series of assassinations began.
On March 1943, Captain Rabe Lendorf, commander of the Central Army Command, tried to kill Hitler with a bomb, but the bomb failed. On July 20th of the following year, Colonel stauffenberg did the same thing in the briefing room of the High Command. But Hitler dodged a bullet in the explosion, and the sensational "July 20" assassination failed.
Frustrated, Hitler decided to take this opportunity to investigate thoroughly. After the execution of Colonel stauffenberg and others, all those involved, including Marshal Wutzler, were arrested and sentenced to be hanged in the "honor court".
In the trial court, Wurzler did not make any excuses, but calmly told the judge, "You can give me to the executioner, but within three months, people who are suffering and angry will come to settle accounts with you."
1On September 8th, 944, Marshal Wutzleben was hanged in prison, but he failed to witness Hitler's final defeat.
In 1959, General Heusinger, the director of the German Defence Force, said when referring to the July 20th incident: "The Christian salvation and the humanitarian responsibility of the brave decided the assassination. Our Bundeswehr soldiers express infinite admiration for their sacrifice spirit and conscience, and they are worth learning. "
