1942, the Pacific War broke out, Macao's economy was depressed, and the middle school department was forced to move back to Tianshen Lane. The following year, the middle school department moved to Jinghu Road again, sharing the same position with the primary school, and changed to a free middle school, which was well received by all walks of life. The chairman of the board of directors is Ms. Huang Baojiao. After the end of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Macao's social environment became more complicated and its schools were in a difficult situation. Fortunately, due to the United struggle of teachers and students, school affairs continue to develop. 1947 Duran took over as principal.
1949 10/day, New China was founded, and President Duran led the teachers and students to raise the five-star red flag in the school. Since then, school education has developed with the strength of the motherland.
1950, with the support of enthusiastic patriots, the school expanded its board of directors, with Dr. Chen Man as the chairman, and moved the middle school department to No.3 Jaamala Road (the current address of the school headquarters). 1952 set up a simple normal class. The following year, high school was founded.
From 65438 to 0954, Mr. He Xian was the chairman. That year, the kindergarten moved to Guangfu Street; Two years later, the primary school moved to Yafengsu Street, and the kindergarten moved back to the present site of Jinghu Road. During his tenure as chairman, Mr. He Xian was very concerned about and supported the development of the school. He gave generously to all major construction projects and mobilized social enthusiasts to sponsor them.
The school has always paid strict attention to the quality of teaching, spared no effort to enrich the subject equipment for many years, and gradually modernized the educational means. 1978, the first modern language teaching room in Macao was established. Two years later, a computer course was opened and a computer center was established.
Mr Ma Wanqi took over as chairman. In the 1980s, the mainland implemented the policy of reform and opening up, and a large number of new immigrants moved to Macao. In order to solve the problem of insufficient places in Macao, with the support of the education department, the school opened afternoon classes in junior high schools for three consecutive years, until September 1989 solved the problem of school buildings and integrated afternoon classes into whole-day classes.
1990, under the care of President Ma Wanqi, the modern teaching equipment of the school was further advanced, with the addition of audio-visual room and geography room, the expansion of physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, and the construction of astronomical observation room on the roof of Building B of Jiaotong University. All kinds of equipment are improving day by day, and teaching is gradually modernizing.
From September 65438 to September 0996, the government allocated land in the urban area of the island, built new school buildings, delivered them to schools for management, and set up a branch school of the Middle School Department (Yishui).
On June 8th, 2002, the new teaching buildings A and B were completed, and the "He Xian Memorial Hall" was set up in Block A\B to commemorate the contribution of Mr. He Xian, the former chairman of our school. He Houhua, Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, was urged to unveil the new teaching building. So far, the reconstruction of three school buildings in Haojiang Middle School has been completed.
In 2009, Haojiang Middle School Education Association and the school board decided to establish an excellent school affiliated to Haojiang Middle School with first-class teaching equipment, teachers, teaching quality and management level, including kindergarten to middle school, in the former site of the former Prince Branch, so as to comprehensively promote the development of school affairs.
