The College of Education of Hebei Normal University was formed by the merger of the former Department of Education of Hebei Normal University, the College of Education, the former Department of Education of Hebei Normal University and the former Department of Education Management of Hebei Institute of Education in 1998, and the substantive merger of institutions and personnel was completed in 1999. The college consists of four departments (Psychology Department, Education Department, Teaching Management Department and Preschool Education Department), one department (Institute of Educational Science) and one department (Education Department), with five undergraduate majors: psychology (including psychology and applied psychology), education, preschool education and public utilities management (normal class).
