Six disciplines, including zoology, have been approved as national key disciplines.
Among them, the principles of pedagogy, pre-school pedagogy, cartography and geographic information system were approved as national key disciplines in 2002, and passed the evaluation of the Ministry of Education this year, and were approved as national key disciplines again. The basic principles of Marxism, modern and contemporary literature in China and zoology are newly added national key disciplines this year. At this point, the number of national key disciplines in our school has increased from 3 to 6, and the construction of national key disciplines has achieved excellent results, laying a solid foundation for the development of our school.
At present, there are 6 national key disciplines, 3 national key disciplines (cultivation), 5 national key disciplines cultivation and construction sites of first-class disciplines in Jiangsu Province, 7 first-class disciplines in Jiangsu Province and 20 key disciplines in Jiangsu Province. There are 7 first-level disciplines for doctoral degree authorization, 82 disciplines for doctoral degree authorization in two disciplines, 2 disciplines for master's degree authorization 1, 68 disciplines for master's degree authorization in two disciplines 1, 7 professional doctoral degree authorization points1,master's degree authorization points for university teachers1,and 76 undergraduate majors.
