A Background of Alei's Writing
Alei, whose real name is Zhu Yiwei, was born in Lianshui County, Jiangsu Province,1June, 909. Graduated from Shanghai Art Institute. 1August, 932, admitted to Shanghai Yingshang Bus Company as a conductor, and soon joined China. After liberation, he served as vice president of Hunan Revolutionary University, director of the Provincial Department of Culture and Education, propaganda minister of the provincial party committee and president of Hunan University. On one side, Alei is just a conductor who likes reading. In fact, his life experience is very extraordinary.

Alei, formerly known as Zhu Zongren, is also known as Zhu, Zhu and Zhu Yiwei. 1909 1.7 was born in a scholarly family in Wang Ji Township, Lianshui County, Jiangsu Province. Grandfather Zhu Tongshou, an imperial examiner of Guangxu Bingzi, was elected as a teacher in Jingjiang County. Zhu Jiyun, the father of the Qing Dynasty, made great achievements in local education.

After graduating from the county primary school, Alei studied in the middle school affiliated to Jinling University, Shanghai Lida College and Wentong College, and graduated from Shanghai Art Institute on June 1930. After 193 1 September 18, it joined the anti-imperialist grand alliance. The following year, I joined the Left-wing Drama Association. In August, dispatched by the Communist Party of China, he was admitted to Shanghai Yingshang Bus Company as a conductor. In September, he joined China. At noon this autumn, Alei happened to meet Mr. Lu Xun in Neishan Bookstore, and this "face" became an eternal moment in his life. At this time, his name is Zhu. When he published articles in newspapers and periodicals, he often used Zhu Yiwei, and sometimes he also used He Lei.

1933, Alei was arrested for participating in and leading the strike of ticket sellers, transferred to Nanjing and sentenced to 15, losing contact with the party. 1935, fellow countryman Zheng Bin asked Gu, an important figure of the Kuomintang, to bail Alei. Later, Alei went to Malaysia to teach at Zunkong School in Kuala Lumpur, and was deported for participating in and supporting the patriotic movement of students. 1In August, 936, with the help of Tao Xingzhi, Alei returned to Shanghai, engaged in left-wing literary activities with Zhang Tianyi, Chen and Jiang Muliang, edited novels with Ouyang Shan, organized the series Watch for Everyone and Teenagers with Ai Siqi, and edited more than 20 short stories at home and abroad for Xu Qianjin.

1936 10, the writer Lu Xun died, and Alei, Ba Jin, Jin Yi, Huang Yuan, Chen and Yi Qun formed a funeral office to participate in the preparations for the funeral. Under the pen name of "Alei", he wrote an article "One Side" in memory of Lu Xun with deep affection and translated Smedley's "Lu Xun is a Sword".

1937 After the "August 13th Incident", Alei rejoined the Party and was assigned by the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles to sneak into the Chen Cheng Army. He also participated in the "literary rescue" work in Shanghai and led a group of young literary and art workers to form a field service corps. After the fall of Shanghai, he led a delegation to find the New Fourth Army in southern Anhui and carried out the anti-Japanese United front work under the leadership of Chen Yi. Later, Zhou Enlai introduced him to work in Dabie Mountain.

After the Southern Anhui Incident, Alei went to the headquarters of the Second Division of the New Fourth Army on Jinpu Road to work in the anti-Japanese democratic base area. Later, he was transferred to the propaganda section chief of the political department of the New Fourth Army in northern Jiangsu and the editor-in-chief of Jianghuai Daily. Soon, he was transferred to the secretary-general of Huaihai Administrative Office. 1In March, 943, he was transferred to the county magistrate of Lianshui County, and concurrently served as the Minister of Enemy Works and the principal of Lianshui Middle School (then called Huaihai No.1 Middle School). At this time, his name is Zhu Yiwei. 1May, 945, traveled south to the west of Zhejiang, and served as Tianbei Commissioner. Soon, he returned to southern Jiangsu.

Alei personally wrote the school song of Huaihai No.1 Middle School: "On the Huaihai Plain, there is a prosperous village. The young Huaihai Middle School stood beside the enemy's bed. In order to resist Japan and win, we put the classroom battlefield. Cultivate the younger generation and exercise to grow up; War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, farmers and workers, tomorrow, we are the role models of the new China. On the banks of Liutang River, fertile fields are open. Young Huaihai Middle School lives among soldiers and farmers. In order to resist Japan and win, our classroom is near the Lu 'an River in the green gauze tent. Study hard and persist in struggle; Labor, democracy and discipline, we are role models for new youth. " This song inspired many students to take part in the Lianshui Defence War and Menglianggu Campaign and embark on the revolutionary road.

1September, 945, Alei withdrew from Shandong with the army and served as the propaganda minister of the enemy working Committee of the Third Field Army. 1948 participated in the establishment of Zhongyuan University in Baofeng, western Henan. In May of the following year, he entered Wuhan with the army and took over Wuhan University as a military representative. In August, Hunan was peacefully liberated, and successively served as the director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Education and the propaganda minister of the provincial party committee. From 1953 to 1982, he served as the president of Hunan University once and three times. At this point, he used the name Zhu Fan.

He is proficient in English and Japanese, as well as literature, history and philosophy. He is a writer, revolutionary and educator. Extraordinary revolutionary experience honed his humor and optimism.

He was born with one eye squint, and then his wife left him. He quipped cheerfully: "I think her eyesight is worse than mine." I don't see that I want to be an official in the future, and she can enjoy it. " In fact, eyes like mine don't hinder being an official at all. "During the Cultural Revolution, he was labeled as a traitor and suffered cruel struggle and censorship, but he was always cheerful.

When people ask about two books that should be cultural relics that Mr. Lu Xun gave Alei-Destruction and Liu Tie, he will say slowly, "I lost one." Then, take a sip of tea, another sip of tea, and slowly say, "I lost the other one." People can't help laughing, but also remind people of the two jujube trees in Lu Xun's Autumn Night.
