What do you train before joining the army?
Legal analysis: In order to improve the quality of conscription, in recent years, adaptive education and training activities have been carried out for young people who have passed the physical examination and political assessment in the process of conscription. The activities are organized by full participation, comprehensive assessment and comprehensive elimination. The contents of education and training include the following aspects:

First, military training Military training is mainly queue training and physical training. Queue training mainly includes: forward, stand at attention, at ease, straddle, stop, squat, salute, stand at attention, quick march (running) and so on. Physical training mainly includes push-ups, sit-ups, standing long jump, sprint and 1000m running. Before the end of pre-job education and training, physical fitness tests shall be organized and the test results shall be posted. The test results will form a file and serve as an important basis for approving the allocation of troops.

Second, political education. Mainly carry out military service regulations, enlistment motivation, common sense, ideological preparation, excellent traditional education of the army, etc.

Third, quarantine review. Before the end of education and training, organize a quarantine review of all trainees and eliminate those who are really unfit for service.

Fourth, clean inspection. It mainly adopts the methods of questionnaire survey, discussion and individual understanding to find out whether the staff at all levels have "eating, taking, getting stuck, demanding" and other illegal and disciplinary behaviors during the recruitment period.

Fifth, fill in the volunteers. According to the recruitment direction of counties, cities and districts, the young people who participated in the training should fill out the "Intention Form for Choosing the Place to Join the Army".

Sixth, comprehensive evaluation. Before the end of pre-job education and training, the actual performance of young recruits during pre-job education and training shall be comprehensively scored, and the results shall be posted and filed for future reference. The comprehensive evaluation results will serve as the main basis for the examination and approval of the troops.

Legal basis: Article 7 of the Military Service Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). Soldiers must abide by the rules and regulations of the army, be loyal to their duties and fight to defend the motherland at any time.

Reserve personnel must participate in military training and perform military duties in accordance with regulations, and be ready to join the army at any time to defend the motherland.
