Three campuses. As of March 15, 2024, according to the official website of Sun Yat-sen University, Sun Yat-sen University has three campuses, namely Guangzhou Campus, Zhuhai Campus and Shenzhen Campus. Guangzhou Campus of Sun Yat-sen University has three campuses: North Campus, South Campus and East Campus of Guangzhou University. In June 2000, the Ministry of Education approved the construction of Zhuhai Campus of Sun Yat-sen University. In February of the same year, the Shenzhen campus was approved by the Ministry of Education. At this point, Sun Yat-sen University has formed a school-running pattern with the overall development of three campuses and five campuses. Sun Yat-sen University is located in Guangdong Province. Sun Yat-sen University is one of the national "double first-class", "985 Project" and "21/project" key universities. Chinese language and literature, history and forensic medicine offered by Sun Yat-sen University are all majors with national characteristics.
