The School of Distance and Continuing Education of Communication University of China has various teaching forms, such as correspondence, evening education, full-time adult education, network distance and so on. The college has six branches in Hunan, Wuxi, Zhejiang, Shandong, Shanxi and Yunnan, 25 correspondence stations and 30 long-distance off-campus learning centers.
After 40 years' development, China Communication University has set up 25 majors since it started adult higher education on 1965. Among them, journalism, broadcasting, radio and television editing and directing, advertising, communication engineering, computer science and technology, radio and television engineering, digital media art, photography and video technology, radio and television program production and other majors have long been favored by the majority of students.
