1. Academic requirements: Postgraduates applying for the Hong Kong University of Education usually need to hold an accredited bachelor's or master's degree. Applicants who have obtained a degree from Chinese mainland University must obtain a good average score, and provide the online verification report of graduation certificate, degree certificate and higher education certificate issued by Xuexin.com, as well as the certificate report issued by the degree network. Universities may require students to provide qualification assessment reports issued by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ).

2. Language conditions: To apply for the master's program taught by the Hong Kong University of Education, the total IELTS score must be no less than 6.0, or the TOEFL score must be above 80. In addition, the university also accepts the CET-6 score of Chinese mainland University, and the score must be above 430 within two years. To apply for postgraduate and doctoral programs, the IELTS score must be no less than 6.5, or the TOEFL score must be no less than 80.
