Knowledge refers to inner awareness, understanding of things, and behavior refers to people's actual behavior. The unity of knowledge and action is not to swallow action with knowledge, nor to swallow action with action, but to think that action is knowledge, with conscience inside and good deeds outside. If there is no conscience, there will be no actual charity. It is an epistemological and practical proposition in China's ancient philosophy, mainly about cognitive practice.
